Welcome to Columbus' center for music instruction for students of all ages and skill levels. Here you will find professional instructors, private and group lessons, the widest variety of instrumental instruction, and programs for all ages, from beginner to advanced.  Lessons take place at the Schwob School of Music, an All-Steinway School, in the RiverCenter building in uptown Columbus. Registration is accepted throughout the semester. Tuition is affordable, and convenient payment plans and scholarships are available. Call Monday through Friday for more information or to register.

PRIVATE LESSONS

All major instruments, children and adults, beginner to advanced, experienced instructors. Register for any number of lessons, schedule lesson times with instructor.

LITTLE MOZARTS

 This class is designed for preschool aged kids (2-5) and offers a fun environment that stimulates musical growth. Students will explore rhythm, ear training, singing, and expression through music with the use of movement exercises, circle games, and playing on various percussion instruments.

 6 weeks, 45 minutes

GROUP PIANO FOR YOUNG BEGINNERS

 This program is offered to beginners ages 5-8. Students gain confidence as their keyboard skills grow in a fun environment with students in their own age group. Each student will learn the fundamentals of piano playing on on one of 16 full-size keyboards in the Schwob School of Music's state-of-the-art keyboard lab. This program is a great on its own or as an opportunity for young students to sample the weekly structure of music lessons before beginning private lessons.

 6 weeks, 45 minutes

GROUP GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS

 This program is offered to beginners ages 7-12. Students learn to play the guitar in a fun environment with others in their own age group. Classes are taught by professional guitar instructor and experienced teacher, Andrew Wilder. This program is a great on its own or as an opportunity for students to sample the weekly structure of lessons before beginning private study. Each student is required to bring their own guitar to class.

 6 weeks, 45 minutes

AFRO-CUBAN DRUMMING GROUP

 Students ages 8 and up are engaged in the unique rhythmic flavors of this genre according to their individual skill levels led by experienced percussion performer and instructor, Chris Reichmeier. 

 6 weeks, 45 minutes
