A child's first years set the stage for his or her lifetime of music development. This program offers a curriculum of developmentally-appropriate music and movement classes that are designed to stimulate, and encourage the early stages of musical growth.
This class is designed for preschool aged kids (2-5) and offers a fun environment that stimulates musical growth. Students will explore rhythm, ear training, singing, and expression through music with the use of movement exercises, circle games, and playing on various percussion instruments.

• Instructor: Dr. Amy Ogburn
Little Mozarts instructor Dr. Amy Ogburn has had decades of experience as a performer and educator. She is a professional oboist and teaches Music Appreciation and Music Theory courses at Columbus State University's Schwob School of Music as well as private oboe lessons, theory, and ear training through the Music Preparatory Division. Dr. Ogburn's diverse background includes teaching young children at the Carnegie Mellon Preparatory Division and the Chatham University Arts and Music Day Camp. She has a background in Dalcroze Eurhythmics and the Kodaly Method. She earned her D.M.A. from West Virginia University, M.M. from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and B.M. from Ohio University.
